At Christar we are passionate about prayer! Want to get involved with what is happening on the front lines? Join us in praying for the following prayer requests!
• Pray that God will open Muslims’ hearts as a worker reaches out at a women’s prison in Lebanon.
• Ask that workers among immigrants in France would not get discouraged as they reach out in neighborhoods where they are the only believers.
• Pray for peace and stability in Central Asia, especially for a cessation of the violence that has claimed many lives.
• Lift up the ongoing unrest in many Middle Eastern countries and ask God to use the chaos to draw Muslims to Himself.
• Ask God to provide a safe and loving home for a 3-year-old orphan girl in Albania.
• Continue to lift up the Philippines and those who have lost loved ones and homes to flooding. Pray not only for the safety of workers and nationals, but also for the love and light of the Gospel to reach these least-reached people. read more
• Please join us in praising God for the salvation of 52 new Hindu background believers in Indonesia!
• Pray for believers in Holland that they would be equipped through a recently begun study of theological issues.
• Pray for peace and stability in Northern Iraq and for believers whose ministry is limited due to the violence.

The Hand of God
As I thought of the troubling night before, including mosquitoes buzzing near my ear, a nightmare of impending death with narrow escape, and a sudden waking to what I thought had been a man’s voice in my apartment, I felt that it was part of the spiritual battle we face as believers. Remembering that the enemy is fully armed, but the One I serve is stronger, I prayed, asking the Father to strengthen me with His armor and protection. Then I left the house.
